The purpose of the CPWM is to share the love and joy of Jesus Christ through the ministry of women in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. This work is Christ centered, bathed in prayer, and implemented out of a sense of obedience to God's Word through the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Cumberland Presbyterian Women’s Ministry(CPWM) is actively engaged in a wide array of ministries and outreach through mission, service, encouragement, and fellowship. In addition to serving those in need within our own church family, the CPWM supports local missions including Mission of Hope, KARM, IVAS Place, Mobile Meals, Cherokee Health Systems, and Habitat for Humanity in Loudon County.
The women also host church activities throughout the year such as the children’s Easter egg hunt, poinsettias ministry, the annual Christmas dinner, card ministry, and baby/bridal showers. In addition, the CPWM sponsors a spring or summer weekend women’s retreat where they focus on growing together as sisters in Christ through God's amazing Word.
The CPWM welcomes and encourages women of all ages to join them in this ministry, and invites you to join them for their next meeting, held the third Sunday of each month following morning worship.
And he said to Him, “Lord, you know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.” - John 21:17b
