When the women sang at last year's retreat they sounded like angels. Tanda, the Choir Director, invited all to join the choir and I thought all the chairs would be filled the next Sunday. I knew I couldn't read music and had a terrible singing voice but I decided I would join and see if others would. I felt very incompetent and insecure but Tanda would say each week "we are here to praise The Lord" so I have continued to sing. I love to go now and matters not about my insecurities. It is great to practice on Wednesdays and you can just sing out to your heart's content. The Lord loves my voice and I have been greatly blessed by the friendship and belonging.

The choir is my way of thanking God for all His wonderful benefits and giving Him glory.

When I hear the choir sing in our church, there is something that touches my heart. The harmony, the smiles, the beauty of watching and listening to this group of people singing their hearts out to the Lord. Sometimes the music may bring tears and other times it fills my heart with joy. I just know that it is truly a blessing to hear such a beautiful sound.

I believe the choir affects people on many different levels. Thru their music and beautiful voices, they are sharing their God-given gifts with us as well as sharing His message. Love seeing the little ones involved!! Many thanks to Tanda and all the choir members for their time, talents and dedication to our worship services!
