members attend.
In partnership with Mission of Hope, we have “adopted” Smoky Mountain Elementary School, located in Cosby, TN. We support this school with various things during the school year. For example,
- Each year, just after school starts, several volunteers from our
church deliver backpacks and school supplies to each child from Pre-K to 8th
grade.
- Each December we take several volunteers from our church to deliver and distribute toys and hygiene for the children from Pre-K to 8th grade for Christmas. We also deliver supplies for the teachers. Mission of Hope asks us to also deliver food boxes and clothing for a number of these students and their families. Each year, at Faith Fellowship, we have purchased shoes and socks for these students.
- We have supplied equipment for their gym, supplies for the teachers, bookcases for classrooms, etc.
