CCW/IVAS Place

Purpose:

Crisis Center for Women (IVAS) is a complex non-profit organization providing comprehensive free services to women and women with dependent children in crisis. Their work affects victims of domestic violence and homelessness. For these victims, the programs provide immediate access to shelter, clothing, food, medical and counseling services.

To the community at large, their program provides education and training regarding Domestic Violence, Dating Violence and Sexual Harassment. Also, the parallel impact of poverty, as a major factor, for the need of temporary lodge and meals for women and women with dependent children in crisis is a focus to inspire the community to join them in making a significant impact on ending domestic violence.

How Do We Help:

In the past, Faith Fellowship has made monetary contributions to IVAS.  In addition, periodically a collection of needed items will be done.  For instance, in 2014, for Mothers’ Day, we are collecting items from IVAS Wish List.
