CHILDREN’S CHURCH
Children’s Church (following the choir anthem) is open to all children Pre-School until completion of 2nd Grade. 3rd Graders and above should remain with their parents in the worship service.
NOTE REGARDING GIVING FOR FURNISHINGS FOR NEW BUILDING
The total amount needed for the Chairs for the new building has been met and the additional amount needed for the stained glass window is less than $1,500. Thanks to all who have given above and beyond for these needs. However, we still have a large need (over $12,000) for the Sound System; and $8,500 for furniture and the choir rail. If you wish to make donation for a specific category, please be sure to include it on your check. Donations can be placed in the offering plate on Sunday mornings or mailed to the church PO Box

Beginning this week, Choir will begin at 7:00pm at FMS. Now would be a great to consider joining or re-joining the choir.
MONTHLY NEWSLETTER UPDATE
After meeting with Pastor Jeff and the Communications Committee, a decision to change the format of the Newsletter has been made. We will be taking some time to develop a different look, content and other needs. As of now, the next projected newsletter will be in November. We will print the birthday and anniversary list in the bulletin and the weekly update on the last Sunday of each month. We can use any new and fresh ideas, suggestions and comments to help us re-design our Newsletter. Please email ideas to Gloria Gorss at jefglo@charter.net. MEN’S RETREAT update

september KARM PROJECT
For the month of September we will be collecting Creamer and Sugar for Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries. Containers are available on Sunday mornings. The pantries are at KARM are critically low.
